The Swordfish 1000XCD is a cross-cut shredder capable of shredding up to 10 sheets at a time. It comes with a unique ‘Space Saver’ design that enables one to operate the machine placing it beneath the workstation. Nowadays identity fraud is on the rise. Thus, shredding waste confidential paper is the best possible way to get rid of the unused paper. This will prevent strangers from misusing or tampering with confidential information about ones company or oneself. The shredder can shred up to 10 sheets at a time - about 80gms of paper at once.
Not only does the Swordfish destroy paper it can also destroy information on CDs/DVDs. It comes with an integrated CD/DVD data destroyer which embosses hundreds of tiny dimples onto both sides of a CD or DVD, making the data irretrievable. Apart from this it can also shred credit cards, staples, paper clips. It comes with a slot for shredding credit cards. For waste collection it comes with a 15 litre waste bag that can hold approximately 150 sheets. It is a slide-out waste bag that can be easily emptied. To facilitate easy access the bin slides out off the narrow side of the shredder.
