At times there are important documents holding too much of sensitive information to go into the recycling bin without being shredded first. The Hama manual cross-cut shredder takes care of this requirement whether it is a confidential document in office or a cash or credit card that needs to be destroyed at home. It is small and lightweight and does not consume too much space. This enables it to be conveniently placed at the desktop. It comes with a hand operated handle. It can cross-cut papers into 3.5 x 22 mm pieces.
The shredder has one compartment at the back for shredding important paper documents which once shredded get collected into the 1.6litre basket until they are disposed in the bin. The front part has a section for destroying any CDs which may have sensitive information on them. In addition to this it has a section for destroying plastic cards eliminating the need of cutting up any inactive cards manually. In a society where identity fraud is rampant it is not feasible to leave ones personal details intact without proper care.
