Our Review
Cross-cut shredders are capable of shredding papers vertically and horizontally into confetti-like pieces. These cut pieces compress very well and hence do not require frequent emptying of the basket. The ROTO 40 CC has been specially designed keeping in mind home usage. It comes with a mesh waste basket for holding waste pieces. This shredder is capable of shredding A4 size papers and is hence ideal for occasional use at home or home offices. The shredder cross-cuts 6 sheets at a time into 4x 39mm pieces and can shred about 50sheets per day. It features the SafeSense technology that makes the machine to stop automatically if it accidentally comes in contact with someone’s hand or fingers during paper entry. It also comes with a turbo jam release function to help clear jams with ease.
The electronic auto-start reverse functions make it easier to operate the device. Its unique silent shred technology minimizes the noise. This is ideal for a shared work environment. Apart from paper the shredder is also capable of shredding staples, credit cards, paper clips. This is a high quality product that comes with a 230mm throat width.
