This is a shredder that is good for home use and securely cross cuts the paper into confetti-like pieces that are 3.9mm x 48mm. It has a large mesh bin (17l) which is extremely convenient since you can see at all times just how full it is; the shredder also easily processes staples and credit cards. When the lid of the machine is removed, the machine shuts off and there is an automatic start function, which allows you to simply turn it on and start feeding the papers right away. However, this model doesn’t have jam-proof mechanism, so you will have to be careful not to feed too many sheets at once; the shredder also has two plastic gear wheels, apart from the metal ones, which plastic wheels can easily break under heavy load and are not replaceable. The Fellowes P70CM is also a bit noisy, but for the occasional user this is a good shredder overall.
