Our Review
This is a cross-cut shredder that cuts the paper vertically and horizontally into confetti-like pieces. Cross-cut shredders also called confetti-cut shredders provide the highest level of security. As identity fraud is on the rise it has become very important to destroy any waste confidential document or media element that may contain sensitive information. This would prevent them falling into the hands of strangers who might misuse them. This cross-cut shredder is capable of shredding paper into unreadable pieces- size 4 x 23mm. It has a sheet capacity of 7 sheets. This means it can cross-cut 7 sheets at a time.
The shredder also comes with a three position slide switch for automatic on/off and reverse. It also checks for overloading. There is a feature called ‘safety cut-off’ that disables the shredder and turns off its power when overloading occurs. A 20litre waste collection bin is provided to collect the pieces of paper. This product is capable of destroying CD apart from old confidential papers like cheque subs, bank statements, legal documents etc. The product is available in two colors- black and cream. It is designed to meet the requirements of individuals who are working from home.
